It can be challenging to place ESL students in the correct level. It especially challenging to place ESL students in beginning and beginning literacy. Have you created your own placement instrument that you use along with or instead of a standardized appraisal?

Use this page to upload examples of placement instruments.  To add your document, click on the Images and Files link under Insert Links on the right-hand menu on this page. Upload your document. Then click on Edit at the top of this page. Add your description and notes about your file. Then place your cursor in the table cell of your row under Document, and double-click your document on the right-hand menu. A  link to your document should appear in the table.

To add another row to the table, place your cursor in the table and right click. You will have a choice to add a row above or below.
